Aircraft Intro
So on the 01st January 2025 I decide to set the dial to zero and make a list of each Big Business jet(Gulf 6 & Global 7500 upwards, along with Corporate Airliners), 4 Engined aircraft(basically all the wide bodies and big aircraft)and all Military Transports, mainly for a bit of fun and to keep a check on how long it takes to see/graph them!

Saturday 25th January 2025.
"I don't do light bulbs", heard this a few times when people talk of aircraft OTT. Generally I need to see the aircraft(so I can recognise the type), so on returning from the football on a crystal clear(but dark)winters evening it was more a case of hope rather than expectation of seeing a Unregistered P-8A of the US Navy that flagged up on my flight tracking app heading in my direction..
The frustration grew as I was able to tie up the aircraft(not showing on trackers)as being 168761 P-8A out of RAF Lossiemouth.
However lady luck smiled and as I looked I was able to see the outline of the aircraft, lit well by the stroble lights and the light polution below, I must try this more often!
So the scorers got woken and put 168761 P-8A US Navy away as it headed OTT Blackpool routing from RAF Lossiemouth(LMO)to NAS Sigonella(NSY).

As Storm Eowyn battered the UK, one small gain was it blew the clouds away for just enough time to nab N887WM Gulf 650ER of Bill Gates OTT Blackpool en route from the World Economic Forum at Zurich(ZRH)to Washington(IAD).

Crikey it had been a while, work certainly getting in the way!
A brief clear spell before work gave chance for a few seen OTT Blackpool, sadly again the camera was of no use due to the drop in daylight hours!

Monday 06th January 2025
I was in Edinburgh for a few days, and whilst England suffered with snow, the weather in Scotlands capital was clear(but baltic) noticed D-AVIB E35L Vistajet was due in Edinburgh(EDI) from Innsbruck(INN) as H5643, Saw it come in over the city centre, so bobbed up for a photo and got frozen in the wind chill!
Not the best shot, as on a domestic trip rather than aviation(so not the usual camera), but just about passable.

A mid afternoon session saw some 4 engined aircraft heading OTT Blackpool in glorious winter weather, this gave a chance for a few winners and winner shots.
