Bizjet wise we had a couple to trouble the scorers today, D-CHDJ C56X of Silver Cloud Air arrived at Blackpool(BLK) from Farnborough(FAB) as SCR744(presume the 744 relates to the c/n).

Military Transport wise, 99-0169 C-17A USAF was seen OTT Blackpool as RCH4250 from Charleston(CHS)to Ramstein(RMS).

THURSDAY 24TH APRIL 2025

On the Bizjet front we had CS-PHK E55P of Netjets Europe operating a training flight as NJE275A from and to Blackpool(BLK), it had earlier arrived from, and eventually departed back to Luton(LTN).

D-CEFO C56XL of Vistajet Germany arrived at Blackpool(BLK)from Faro(FAO)as VJH346, it later departed to Farnborough(FAB).

N610SW GLEX of Steel Services LTD routing Stansted(STN)to Teterboro(TEB),

On the Military transport front OTT Blackpool, I was kicking myself for missing 99-0003 C-32A USAF by seconds, however the frustration was short lived as I was rewarded 5 mins later as 98-0001 C-32A USAF routed Jaipur(JAI)to Andrews AFB(ADW).

4 Engine wise, it was just the one, D-AIFD A343 Luthansa on LH404 from Frankfurt(FRA)to New York(JFK).

TUESDAY 22ND APRIL 2025

A bit of variety today due to a period of clear skies!

Starting on the Bizjet front, D-CHZF C55B of Tyrol Air Ambulance arrived for a night stop at Blackpool(BLK) from Marseille(MRS) as TWY213F in a particularly neat livery.

Seen OTT Blackpool was the brace of G-NJAI C56X of Netjets UK heading from Edinburgh(EDI)to Oxford(OXF)as NJU859N, and probably the best of the Bizjets today was

2-KSFX GLEX of Conciege U as JC02 heading Los Angeles(LAX)to Luton(LTN).

The first Bizprop of the chase was M-CDMS BE20 of BAE Systems Marine seen out of its base at Barrow In Furness(BWF)heading to Farnborough(FAB).

Continuing the day of firsts, the first Military Transport was clocked, as ZM404 A400M of the RAF droned OTT as Aslan 60 on a play around the lake district from and to Brize Norton(BZZ).

4 engine aircraft ticked off was D-AIMH Airbus A388 of Lufthansa on LH424 Munich(MUC)to Boston(BOS), and the highlight of the day, LX-VCF Boeing 748F of Cargolux operating CV292 from Calgary(YYC)to Luxembourg(LUX), this carries the 'not without my mask' branding with a big blue surgical facemask painted on the nose from the days of COVID, I've never got a snap of it and whilst this one wasn't the best, I don't know how long it'll be before this aircraft goes in for a refit/re-spray and loses its livery, so this snap will have to do for now!

SUNDAY 20TH APRIL 2025

As good a day as any to start things off, so Easter Sunday dawned, and the blog officially started with a sighting of G-XLEI Airbus A388 of British Airways going OTT Blackpool operating BA269 London Heathrow(LHR)to Los Angeles(LAX).

Just for the quirk of it I was hoping to to switch on You Tube later and watch Airline Video lives livestream of LAX and the A380's arrival, however that plan faded when it transpired, they were filming at SFO today! 

On the local front, the scorer's got troubled by based and privately owned N575BW SF50 arriving at Blackpool(BLK)from Reus(REU)and parking outside its Westair hangar.

An easy one!

A record of each brand new G- Airliner delivered since the 20th April 2025(with hopefully a photo appearing of said aircraft).

THE BUSINESS, MILITARY TRANSPORT AND 4 ENGINE AIRCRAFT LOG

I decided after a fair time away to really get back into Aviation, the usual work and family life had taken priority, and whilst still maintaining an interest living near Blackpool Airport, the chase of pursuing that elusive Aircraft hadn't returned.

Now it wouldn't be a return of misspent youth of dossing in Airport terminals(to maximise the spotting/keep costs down), or too many last-minute leaps to travel the length of the country to nab one Bizjet, however I did want to set a total that I'd like to see/clear.

So, after reviewing the state of play and with family grown up, the realisation that getting all the Airliners these days would be a major task. So, I opted on the 'easier' tasks of focussing on getting up to date with all the Business Aircraft and Military Transports(the things I'd been mainly interested in)along with any 4 engine aircraft seen.

Unlike the old days, digital spotting has now become a thing so whereas those seen over the top(OTT) would have taken months to tie up, nowadays(with thanks to FR24/ADSB etc), its largely instant.

For the purpose of the blog everything was being reset to zero, to give an idea of how things panned out.

So, enjoy the reports, this blog won't be taking itself seriously and hopefully won't just be a list of registrations seen!
